Access to Childcare

Childcare access removes one of the most common structural barriers preventing parents from participating in paid workforce training.

  • Childcare is integrated directly into our workforce model, not treated as a separate or optional service.

During active program hours, participating parents have access to onsite childcare so they can attend paid classroom instruction and supervised work placements without disruption. This structure allows caregivers to focus on learning and employment while knowing their children are nearby and supported.

Childcare access is provided specifically to enable participation in workforce training and is aligned with program schedules, capacity limits, and safety requirements.

    • Available during scheduled program hours only

    • Prioritized for active program participants

    • Designed for short-term, workforce-enabling support

    • Capacity is limited and managed per cohort

    • Participation is optional and based on family need

Childcare access is not a standalone service and is not intended to replace long-term childcare arrangements.

  • Childcare access is made possible through dedicated philanthropic and institutional funding. Support for childcare allows parents and caregivers to complete paid training, maintain consistent attendance, and transition into employment.

Funding for childcare is raised separately to ensure sustainability, safety, and program integrity.
